Looks like he leaves seams around the headlights doing the front bumper.

- Not sure of the history of the paint on that 356. Safe to say this stuff can be STICKY.
- We just pulled it off when we got to the film destination. We were all surprised at how tight it was.
- Yup, I knew we had to get on the highway so we taped some of the leading edges. Probably not necessary knowing how sticky it is now but I didn't want any flapping to happen while on the road.
Would I do this again? Yes I would! I didn't want to deal with trailering it to the destination.

Drifting
I know my car will get beaten up with use once I start my road trips. I wanted to avoid any initial chips but once the bra is in, all bets are off.
It was a fun delivery day for me and my friends and it'll give us all a funny story to talk about for years.

Pull your spittoon closer
Back in my day we didn't do no fancy wraps on our cars and the paint held up jest fine. (spits and hitches overalls up.)
All joking aside, my 95 993 (guards red) does not have much damage to the front paint. The factory "wrap" is still in place, of course.
Now the windshield....that's another story. It seems like every small rock in Oregon has taken dead aim at the windshield over the years.
Is the paint different now? I've had detailers tell me that the old Porsche paint is harder and harder to chip than the new stuff.

Living in Los Angeles county, I actually head north to Ventura County to get my house paint....there is that much difference...

Upon finalizing my allocation and putting down a deposit, my dealer advised me that taking delivery at Atlanta PEC could result in significant delays. There are limited slots available and only on certain days. Supposedly they are really backed up. I'm local in ATL, so I hope to go down there on another occasion. I'd rather have my car ASAP.

July 12 Afternoon
Confirmed my delivery July 12 Tuesday afternoon. I decided to get the expel track one use film and just cover the front for the ride home.
