Sadly it's true. I need to save the dough for track days, tires, brakes and cars. Also every time I've had a nicer watch (still nowhere as nice as RLers) I've scuffed / scratched and beat it up.

So yep Casio. Charges by the sun and synchronizes time with Fort Collins.

Awesome! You'll love this watch. It's probably my favorite watch and gets a lot more compliments than my Omega.

I'm looking forwards to it nearly as much as I am the car!

I've had a few Tags over the years. I still run an old F1 as my daily basher.

I also have a U Boat - but I'm not as much as a fan as I am of my old Tags which is why I've gone back.

Big watch fan here as well. Have a couple AP's, one Hublot Big Bang, Breitling B01, Rolex Daytona and JLC NSA. Some great looking watches on this thread! Here's a pic of my Safari.

How do you like your BRM? Do you think it'll last? I briefly came across that brand when I was looking for Gulf watches and they make interesting watches.
I love the new Hublot Ferrari watches.

Which Big Bang do you have?
My 2 grail watches are the Hublot Big Bang and the AP ROO. I'm hoping to pick up a Hublot Big Bang this summer.

The only watch and status symbol I need. Have not worn a watch since the introduction of beepers and subsequent smart phones. But I can appreciate the beauty of nice time pieces.

I find it linguistically entertaining that watches are anachronisms.

The red gold. One of those impulsive vacation purchases years ago

My Radiomir 183 and Rolex Air King have been in a drawer since my Apple Watch arrived. Can't believe how useful the Apple Watch has turned out to be.

I refuse. That is blasphemy to put an air king away for an Apple Watch. I lost a lot of respect for Colbert when he did the same to his submariner.

I love your collection and you pretty much have what I'm looking to own: AP ROO, Hublot, Daytona. I've always wanted that gold Hublot but it's a bit more than I wanted to spend so I'm looking to get the steel version this year. I'm also looking to get an AP ROO next year as that's the only watch I want more than the Hublot Big Bang.
The only thing missing in your collection is a Panerai
