Took a drive out the Ortega Hwy - saw a silver GT4 coming back in when I was headed out.

On a 25 minute drive I saw - the silver GT4, yellow 458, red 488, two new ZR1's (yellow and red), GT3 RS (991), and a few other corvettes, GTI, GTR and a gaggle of motorcycles.

You really need to hang out in a smaller town, with a less impressive crowd! Geez, if I saw that gaggle of cars at cars and coffee here I'd be amazed. Everything but the 488 has turned up at my cars and coffee, but not all at once.

Lots between yesterday and today. First oil change. Suspension settings: -2.5F. -2.0R. 1/2" lower. Corner balance. On way home... pulled over (for no front license plate - VA) and ticketed.

It's odd how some states/localities like to pad their coffers with no plate tickets.

Even odder... State trooper is trapping on the Greenway (a $6, 15 mile toll road), parked in center median. Instead of waiting for someone going 15mph (thanks to Waze I was going only 5 over) he comes after me. Not only were cars in front of me, grouping of 5 cars in the 3 lanes, one of the cars in the front of the pack didn't notice him pull out. I did and I maintained 70-72 in 65. The other guy resumes back to 80 clearly breaking away from the pack.

Trooper comes up behind me right at my rear bumper. He was so close I couldn't see his blue lights any more thru my rear view. Wing totally blocked them. While delivering the citation, he comments that with "what's happening today around the country (inferring terrorism), we are cracking down on missing front plates." I bit my tongue to avoid wasting more of my afternoon sitting on the side of the road.

Won't go back to VA if I can help it after getting a reckless op ticket for going 80 in a 70 MPH zone.

Crazy amount of highway patrol attention there. Clearly a strong authoritarian streak in that state, so the trooper's belief he is fighting terrorism ticketing you for a front plate is not surprising at all.

I need one of these! Blackbox right? Did you hardwire or route standard wire to 12v socket?

I use to work in DC and then soon after Baltimore.

You couldn't pay me enough to move back there.

Today I removed the interior carpet covering the engine and filters. We shall see how she sounds on the way to dinner tonight.
