So I spoke the the Master Mechanic at my Dealer and he knows I am putting on a tune. He said just make sure you take off the tune and you bring the car in. He said he does not trust the knew equipment and every time you bring it in they hook it up and it could be reading your ECU.
Does any one have any more details if this is the case. He was not trying to scare me but rather watching my back

I used to have a stage 2 tuned Audi. Every time I came in for service, I just tell my SA not to plug in OBD2 port. And I use blue tape to cover the port as well.

Unfortunately, they need to plug in their scanner for almost everything they do. Reset the oil change reminder, read codes, etc. I think you can change the wiper refills without the computer, but that's about it!
These aren't mechanics any more, they are technicians. And the cars are complex computers with wheels.
You know the GT4 is so raw and retro that if you don't order the PCM, it will only come with a CD changer (no ipod no nothing). Welcome back to 1999 for me
