Introduction
Just wanted to introduce myself to the GT4 Forum. I have been on the GT3 forum the last few years and own a 2014 GT3(white). I just got an allocation on a GT4 and I am excited to get back to owning a Manual. I have not decided if I will keep the GT3 or not but will make that decision next year when the time comes. I have decided to go Carmine Red, PCCBs, LWB, and yellow stitching but will keep the seat belts black because concerned they will get too dirty over time.
I look forward to participating over here. I am certainly anxious to here from those who own or have owned a 991 GT3 and what they think of the GT4, in comparison.
Also - If there is any one in on this forum who lives in Chicago I would love to meet up and take a drive in their GT4 especially if you have the LWB

I have both a GT4 and 2015 GT3.
The GT4 is a better street car IMO. Not sure if you've tracked your GT3 but it's rediculously good on the track.
The GT4 is WAAAAAY slower so you can actually have some fun before getting into Class A Misdemeanor speeds. Don't get me wrong, the GT3 is a lot of fun to drive on the street, it's just so fast that I don't enjoy it as much because I'm doing ludicrous speed before I know it.
I missed the manual and love that in the GT4.

I do not track but still think the GT3 is a great street car. But, as good as PDK-S is I still prefer a Manual, and the involvement, and there are very few sports cars out there at this level that offer a manual. If the GT3 had a Manual that would be the perfect recipe. I agree with you the the GT3 is insanely fast and you really can not exploit that on the street. I guess my only concern is will I miss that HP in the GT3 if i decide to sell before taking possesion of the GT4. I really do not have room for both. Hence, the reason I would like to meet up with some one in the Chicago area who has a GT4 and might let me test her or drive along. Hey- who ever that may be you can certainly take my GT3 out with me. Could be fun

I don't need to drive your GT3, I have one

I'm pretty sure once you experience the GT4 you'll want to keep your GT3 if you're concerned about going super fast - the GT4 is fairly underwhelming in the speed category.
The shifter makes it worth it though.

Once our GT4 arrived (https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4/9048...-manifold.html), I became obligated to reside here part-time. Shhh, don't tell the other GT3 guys.

Once you get passed the boredom of deviated stitching talks,LWBs,options and questions that have most answers in the owner's manual, you will tend to appreciate the lack of excitement from talking blown engines.
^^- Interesting. Please let me know why you sold your GT3. Have you driven a GT4 yet? What inclined you to sell the GT3 and not wait to spend a little seat time in the GT4. All info would be appreciated.
My GT4 is signed and have commission number ect. May build. I think I am going to wait to sell the GT3 but there is a gentlemen here who is in IL and may give me an opportunity to check out his GT4. So that would help greatly with my decision. I also fear selling my GT3 and then some thing happens with the Gt4 like it mysteriously is no longer available - now that would really hurt.
I have a question for all. If i take possession of this GT4 and decide to keep my GT3. Do you think I will have problems selling the GT4 next summer with very few miles. Based on the lack of supply I have to assume I would be kept whole. I would not try to flip and make money because that is not how I work. I would just unload it where I am kept whole.

IMO the value will drop because they will be making tons of these, but not by much.
If you're worried you'll be missing your GT3,I would take the gentleman's offer and drive the GT4 before purchasing.
