GT4 can't depreciate too much because:
- The price is reasonable in the first place.
- The car has no real competition in the same price range from other makes.
- The GT4 is a much better car than a Cayman GTS, so a GT4 would need to have quite a few miles for it to make sense for the price to drop below a new GTS.
- Porsche will likely mete out supply of new GT4 allocations to make sure it doesn't run ahead of the demand. Even if everyone who wants one will get one, I doubt you'll see these sitting around for long at dealers.

^Thanks and I agree. Also with the new Boxsters and Caymans now confirmed TC-4 cylinders it looks like the GT4 may be the bargain of the Century. I also do not think they will ever make a NA GT4 RS which bodes well for the GT4.
I think I take both and decide which one to keep. Will just need to convince some one in my neighborhood to let me rent their garage for a few months. That should not be a problem. I just think a GT4 w/ PCCBs and LWB would just be so much freakin fun on the streets. I have to believe it will be below 3000 lbs wet and really give me the Go-cart experience I seek. May not have the acceleration and 9000 redline but every thing in life is a trade off. I also do believe the Gt4 the sexier of the two

Just interested in hearing if any one changing out exhaust ect and with what model ect. I know these GT3/4s cars already pretty much wrung out but there is always things happening.
Thanks
Thanks
If someone comes to me and say : I give you the title of a 991 GT3 or of a 991 GT3 RS for the title of your GT4 straight swap,no money involved,I would not take it! Am I crazy? Yes. I don't care I could sell it the next day and make a profit,I am not interested in this type of business.
' Sell gt3 now. Market has slowed a little. Because RS and winter. Your car seems to be well looked after and no track. Does it have LWB?
' Sell gt3 in spring when gt4 arrives. Probably get same money because spring.
' Dealers want non refundable deposits on gt4 because they don't want car sitting on lot with someone's else's spec in spring. Risk of loosing $5k if buyer walks. If I dealer, I would do the same.
Gt4 will be below MSRP next summer. Especially with no buckets. Good time for track guys to buy no LWB gt4 in the spring and put race seats in. 😃😃
Anyone else with a shiny Chrystal ball. 😃😃
My kids are 5 and 9 and I have a job where I don't decide my schedule. So racing is no option at the moment.
Priorities are
1. Family
2. Work
3. Porsches.
But I try to squeeze track days in! It's just to much fun and adds to the whole experience of owning one of the best cars there is.
I enjoy driving my 996rs and 4.0 on the road but can't even compare it to tracking the old 996gt3!
