We do. I skipped sport chrono as well (thanks to your other thread).

Where did you get that interior view? My view of the configurator doesn't actually show the painted interior.

The other choices I made so far are -

Silver Wheels
Standard Brakes
Extraneous leather bits
Single Zone AC
CDR+
Lightweight Battery
Black deviated headlight washers
LWBs

My favorite combo w/ Carmine is the carbon fiber interior and PCCB's. Personally I wouldn't go painted interior on a color like red/blue/yellow/etc, but that's just my opinion! If it makes you happy then go for it! However I think the painted interior AND yellow stitching (or even GR) would look odd. As far as exterior, the carmine red pulls off the yellow PCCBs quite nicely (actually prefer that look over the red steels), but if you plan on tracking the car or just want the steels and don't like the look of the red then you could always get them painted yellow like I did!

You need to use the "360" view on the configurator.

Nice. I went with silver wheels as well. Doborder has a carmine cayman GTS with silver volk wheels and it looks AWESOME. Silver wheels FTW with carmine red. Standard brakes for me as well (of course).
for the lightweight battery. Too rich for me. LOL

Yes, you need to run 360 view in order to see all of the specific build changes. 2D is worthless

You will probably kill resale value with that combo.

Platinum stitch is the safest option for carmine, IMO.
Agree; I went with platinum with my carmine red because I didn't want the clash of the two reds and yellow was too much. -mark

Good choice.

As others have said, don't mix the yellow with red.

Painted interior is 'too much' when it matches the stitching color. I really like the painted vents (and originally selected this option, but deleted it when I confirmed that the metal vent surrounds remained (unlike in the GT3).

I've seen a Carmine Red with plat interior and black wheels. It looked spectacular.

The simpler, the better IMHO.

You already have black in tyres, front splitter, rear diffusor and wing uprights. And on top of this, if you put 2 strong colors like red and yellow, it might seem as McDonalds delivery car honestly. But I think you can combine a strong color with 2 pastel colors like red, black and silver. I have Guards Red as body color and decided to go for red stitching + alu dashboard stripes.

I am not an expert, but the feeling I got from the color is quite important for me. I didnt like the racing yellow in person. If it was Signal yellow, I would have opted that. And blue has the longest wavelenght, hence it is really a silent color. It doesnt scream as yellow or red "I am here".

I think yellow stitching, yellow seatbelts and carbon fiber trim with PCCB would look good. I agree painted trim would be a bit much with yellow accents.
