there are a lot of gaps in the 600s - I suspect many are PTS cars.

the 6 car gap between 700 and 707 is not uncommon. the lesser equipped cars definitely jump ahead of the more loaded ones.

Another PTS - took a while for it to show up - almost 100 VINs behind
https://admin.porschedealer.com/repo...CC2A8XGS152614

That makes is 6 PTS cars in the list...

So totals look like they will be in the low to mid 700's for the new Spyder? How many are PTS with LWB's?

Do we know approximate number of LWB's being optioned in general?

I'm mostly curious so I know how much effort it will take to find the right one in a few years. A new one isn't in the cards for me since we are in the process of buying a house and I am not selling my current one so I'll have to wait.

I have a feeling you will end up saving a bundle by buying used. I was thinking bout buying another new one (for my desert cabin), but it's hard to do so knowing that in two years or less I could buy a slightly used one for 25% or more off. However 33% off a car not optioned to your liking isn't really a deal at all - for instance no matter the price I could not see myself driving a yellow Porsche.

Agree 100%, if the car isn't configured the way you want it doesn't matter what the price is. It's the primary reason why I pushed so hard to find an allocation on the 987.2. I searched existing inventory for nearly 6 months and in that span I never found one configured exactly the way I wanted (Black Full Leather Interior with LWB's). So I ordered. I think I have seen one other with Black Full Leather and Buckets come up for sale, Rennlist car and it was snatched up quickly.

With the new Spyder I know I will want LWB's and from the looks of it there are many being ordered with full leather interiors so I should have a decent amount to choose from and I won't be in any rush. It also helps that they all have PSE as standard and they're all manuals so realistically it shouldn't be too hard to find one that meets 97% of my requirements.

It has been confirmed by Melissa Witek only 22 PTS PCNA Spyders were approved by Porsche AG.
So far of the 22 we know at least:
7 - Full Buckets
4 - 18-way
Still need to confirm the other 11.
