I think of this car as bulletproof and it would take something really significant to shake my belief in it.

It's not often that a car is released that feels like something exciting and new, yet is as proven as this one in terms of the mechanicals.

The engine has been proven in various guises, as have the suspension components and the gearbox. Very few major components can be considered as altered enough to be 'new'. The lightened flywheel and the exhaust maybe?

I think this is one of the best unsung features about this car.
