Like you, I'm coming from an S2000 as my occasional weekend trackday car. I'm having difficulty deciding whether or not I should sell the S2000 and replace it with the Gt4.
I know, I sound crazy but my S2000 is one of the rarest colours and it 's all Mugen. If I sell it I could never buy another, it is literally one of a kind.
I'm hoping you could convince me that the GT4 is worth 3 times the fun of a one of a kind S2000.
Context... I have an allocation for a SBM Gt4 with LWB
While I love the S2000 (I owned one -- holy smokes, that was ten yrs ago!), the choice between the two is super easy, at least for me. But, "worth 3 times", well... At least the GT4 is a good value in the Porsche world.

Disclaimer: Haven't tracked the GT4 yet.
If I had to sell my s2k for a GT4 I would not have a GT4 . The s2k may be slower and older...but I would be hard pressed to find a better mix of fun and reliability while on track.
GT4 will (hopefully) be a good backup track car and weekend toy. The s2k will still be numero uno for track duty as I go fairly frequently .
The consumable to fun ratio I am sure will favor the Honda (on track). We will see though.

Congrats on your gorgeous ride OP. Hope it brings you many miles of enjoyment. Feel free to bring your insights on how the cars compare over on the other tread.

No question the GT4 will be a more fun track car. It's on the street where the S2000 is more enjoyable. 3 9k rpm redline shifts gets you a bit over the speed limit. the limits are explorable on empty streets more easily than in a GT4. That said, I'd consider your S2000 if you decide to sell and even give you first right of refusal if I decide to sell it
I've had my S2000 (and NSXs) for the last 15-20 years and my 3 kids are almost all at least 20
Damn glad to see I'm not the only anomaly... definitely not an empty nester either. I've got 3 kids under the age of 7 and I can only take the 2 big ones in the S2K one at a time in a convertible carseat with the airbags disabled.
