Default V300 to east coast delivery?

For those of you with recent deliveries of a GT4 to the east coast, how much time passed from V300 to delivery?

My SA told me that GT cars are delivered by an enclosed transporter with an elevator and that other cars come on an open trailer so delivery can be slower than non-GT cars. V300 is completion of vehicle.

Default V300 to east coast delivery?

Little under 4-weeks for delivery to Toronto. BUT, mine was unusually quick.

The key will be getting on the first available boat. You can check the shipping schedule on:
http://www.pwl.de/en (under "Liner Schedule", select "west and east coast USA")

Any way to determine which boat it is on other than pestering SA for V332 exit Emden status and make a guess?

Nope! I pestered my SA everyday...it's the least he can do considering the margin they are making on these cars at MSRP.

Tracking this car was definitely the most painful part of the process. I have been spoilt by BMW, which let's you track the shipping, rail and local delivery with the VIN.

Someone posted the boat schedules on another thread...should be able to make a good guess based on the port leave code time.

I have the same problem..Mine is almost V270.

My port exit V332 is scheduled for 10/2.

Mine left port on 9/9 and is supposedly on the DEMETER LEADER.
When I checked the site www.pwl.de.en it shows that boat going to Jacksonville.
My car is supposedly going to Davisville though.
Anyone know what might be the best place to find out any more info??

maybe i haven't bugged my SA enough, but i'm kinda in limbo, my SA was involved in a really bad car accident and hasn't been able to work for the past few months, luckily i called to check up on my order and was told my build would lock 2 weeks later. So my question is how long for delivery from the lock date? my build locked 8/27 beyond that i don't know anything

Default V300 to east coast delivery?

" The process of ordering a Cayman GT4 from a very small(tiny) customer, when dealing with a respectable dealership and Sales Associate "

By Mark Twain

Me : (almost nobody in terms of sales and little in service)

SA : highly respectable and professional(they're out there). Always : " Hi! How are you? I've called to see how are things... Happy Holidays! " (occasional calls)

Me : I want Cayman GT4

SA: There's a list already. Would you like to place a deposit?

Me : Sure. Done.

SA : after a few months-your allocation is here/no buckets.

Me : I'll wait if possible or pass.

SA : I got you one later with buckets.

Me : Thank you very much.

SA : Submit build sheet and sign here and here.

Me : Let me know when it gets here. Have a nice day!

That's how it goes. Not 100 calls and emails/harassment.

BTW,what's V210,V250,V300? Are those some new Porsche models? Also, are these things coming on ships? I thought they're coming from Kentucky...

Don't ask me who he is,it's a novel by Mark Twain.
I'll be sure to say nice things if everything goes well and if he agrees later on.
