I wonder how many other ebay auctions ending with high prices and no sales are also "just for fun" -- friends bidding with friends on a friend's car? Just a thought...

You'd be surprised. However, don't be surprised when it comes time to pay for the car that they can't be approved for a simple loan and come up short.

Everybody thinks they can buy a 100k car and drive it for 'free' right now. That is how they justify stretching themselves to the ragged edge. Because its GUARANTEED they won't lose. Sound a bit like gambling?
