Averaging 12mpg here, but I'm not stritcly adhering to the "keep it Under 4k RPM" break-in procedure either... Always in 2nd and 3rd gear, 4th on the highway sometimes...

My god, my E92 averages 17+. Can't be that bad. Maybe the ECU is running rich for break in?

Wouldn't surprise me if you go 14-15 in the city in a GT4, even after break in. In my C2S, if I drive in manual mode in the city and hold the shifts even a bit, the mileage really falls off. In auto mode with the earlier shifts, I do better than that in the city, and on the highway in any mode it does a lot better, as I'm sure the GT4 will as well. On the highway I get 29-30mpg and expect the GT4 will be similar.
The city mileage all depends on how you drive it and I'm sure the average GT4 driver runs each gear out a bit, even in normal commuting situations. That is going to bring mileage down a bit from the ratings.

17.5 but this includes half of it delivery mileage back from 230 miles away. I think I averaged 22 on that trip. I get about 13 each trip out locally as per the onboard cpu.
You do know you bought a GT4 right? Drive it likes it's meant to be driven!

Hell, I get as good as this in my GT500. One of the things I like about Porsches is that they somehow seem more responsible........but I guess not.

EPA lists it as 18 city, right? Hard to believe the actual numbers are THAT much lower, unless you guys either live in very heavy traffic areas, or have lead feet, heh.
