Some sunny day pics of Sapphire Blue
Hi all,
Here are some pictures in full sunlight of Sapphire Blue the day after I got the car. Still absolutely thrilled with the color choice and platinum wheels. I personally feel that the black wheels hide the beauty of them.
Take care,
Eric

Mine's going to look precisely like that on the outside, too!
Early December...
On a related note, my son saw one at night on the highway and told me it was spectacular at night, too.
Cheers

These are the most representative pics of SBM I think I've seen here. It really is very bright in direct sunlight.

From the get-go, I wanted mine SBM - when I was a little kid, I painted my bikes, go-carts, mini-bikes, motorcycles metallic blue.
As a grown up, I painted my racing helmet metallic blue/silver.
I'd never had a metallic blue car, and this will be it. My wife and other kid looked at these photos and were just slack-jawed.
However, the sheer number of SBM GT4's has at times given me pause. I read a poll on the defunct GT4 site and it looked like 18-19% would be SBM; I get the impression here that it might be more than that.
So - though SBM is my favorite color, and this thread is evidence that it is absolutely stunning, I think that there will be lots around, and it won't be that unique. If this were not going to be THE blue car, I'd get a different color.
Cheers
