I have to put some miles on her, but what’s not to like. I think the wife likes it a lot. She went for a drive solo, came back and said This thing can take some corners. I replied with “You know I’m trying to keep the revs below 4K RPMs right” She went “Oops”. LOL.
Excellent spec on the 50th which is a nice transition from the GT4.
I started thinking of a replacement for the GT4 last year and while I’m not a big turbo fan, I thought the Carrera T spec’d well might just do it as power is similar as well but traction and gearing are much better. But with prices falling on 50th models it seemed the better choice stock v stock. I’m over the CF buckets desire which is about the only optional difference aside from AWS. Porsche touted the T as “lightest 911” which it is marginally over other .2 variants but still the 50th is nearly 100 pounds lighter with 60 more hp. I’m loving it thus far and think it’s the best Porsche of 12 I’ve owned counting my wife’s base cabrio 992.
