Took the GT4 to Christmas lunch. Turned a 20 minute drive into a 90 minute drive over the mountain. (San Carlos to Palo Alto via Skyline for those familiar with the area). Definitely the scenic route. With a quick stop for a couple of pictures at Alice’s on Skyline. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays all.

Wow I’ve never seen Alice’s empty. Looks like you had it all to yourself probably. Best drive I’ve done was Mt. Hamilton on a Christmas morning day a few years back. Saw a bobcat and a few motorcyclists. That was it.

^^^ Yep - One of the few days of the year that they’re closed. Still, weird to see it completely deserted late morning on a weekend day.

I had the good fortune to have Michael Allen Ross following me (as a passenger) on a drive on New Years Day. Combination of fog, sun, and a talented photographer resulted in this.
