981 Spyder!!!!
The article states that the Spyder has a mechanical diff and torque vectoring. I didn't recall reading about PTV so I looked it up and behold, it does. Does anyone one know, will it be disabled with traction control off? I sure hope so.

After playing with it, I really started to appreciate the engineering. It's similar to the new Targa, but different (more simple - lacking the motor, but more complicated adding the rear panel). The hatch is improved with the fact it's easier to lift... It has two hydraulic struts and it also has two guide/securing wheels towards the front. I also like that the panel with the window is way more secure with no loose material. Yes, it's not as simple as the prior, but the new design is pretty cool when you look at it from a complete package POV. When not driving, I will definitely keep the top up to prevent any permanent creases with the fabric. When securing the flying buttresses there is a internal cord that retracts them in making some odd folds. Noticed too that the rear hatch has multiple weather seals to keep it quite water tight compared to the 987.2.
I'm buying mine through them. Bought my first one through them as well. They have been awesome to deal with. Greg and Mazy definitely have some patience dealing with all my inquiries!

I originally submitted a deposit for the GT4, but moved it the day the first 981 Spyder spy photo hit the web (2/11). They initially received two public allocations (a September and November build). At the time LWB's and PTS was not offered... I took the gamble and chose the November build hoping that both would eventually become available. It was a risk, but it paid off as I managed to get both! I'm currently in v170 status. My original delivery prior to PTS/LWB's was the end of December but adding the PTS 16 week delay puts me at mid April... Perfect time for spring driving!!!

According to the Panorama review (page 87 second full paragraph) yes.

Porsche stated openly that their GT cars will stay naturally aspirated. Since the Spyder is not part of the GT program makes me wonder if there is a future Spyder or will it be with the new four cylinder turbo engines.
