I have a Macan turbo so I had the benefit of seeing where leather looked good. I think it's very durable around console but time will tell. I have a black Macan turbo with red black interior so wanted a completely different look. Leather bits from Porsche do make a nice difference if that's your thing.

dj , one last question. what exposure setting / special effect did you use for your photos. nice, warm, sunset glow to all of the pics... almost sepia. cool!

Pete the Burm is awesome. I first encountered Burmester in my Macan. I had Bose in my 991 and wanted to experience Burmester. Everybody is different, but to me the sound difference is worth it. I know it sounds crazy in a convertible, but I love to still crank the stereo up and the Burmester is just a rich, deep bass. I'm terrible at describing why I like Burm, but my ears can tell the difference. It's an incredible sound system. YMMV

Lol! Those photos straight from my iPhone 6S+ with crappy fluorescent garage lighting no flash. If you want any other detail pics let me know.

The hardest thing to figure out so far are the clips on the top flaps. Still working on getting the push release clip operation down.

One thing I noticed is that when the clip is reinserted into Spyder hole on body that you have to push down fairly hard with palm of hand to make sure it's latched or else when you put top up and push to relatch it closed, the clip can pop out. I've just been practicing the routine and its popped out twice if I didn't push down hard on clip to latch it.

I thought the stitching around the shift boot would have been deviating as well to match the rest of the interior since you selected an optional shifter...I say this because I was sure I saw another picture on this forum with red stitching around the shift boot...or is my memory recall not accurate and it was simply wishful/hopeful thinking on my part?

Love your build. Say, could you share you specific interior options? It has never been clear to me what boxes to tick to cover what part in leather.

Also, you pushed me into finally submitting to being a sapphire blue fan.

Unfortunately spyder buyers got the shaft with deviated stitching. No deviation on the wheel or shift boot. You can get it on the shift boot but only if you select a different shift ****

Yes I was not expecting deviated stitching on wheel or boot. I'm fine with the look

Thank you for that. For a moment there I was afraid you had to load up with the $6200 extended leather package. That dashboard extra made a huge difference. Thanks again.

Interesting. Dashboard package in leather is not available on UK configurator!

Interesting. I ordered leather dash trim and console trim on both my Macan and Spyder in US

DJ,
The leather options look awesome. I ended up keeping the options down on mine as I felt I would be trading in a year or two. If I decide to hold on long term, I will regret not checking more boxes than I did. Good luck with the car.

Thanks Kaizman. This is hopefully the last Porsche I'm buying for at least 5 years. Probably trade in the Macan in future but the Spyder has got to keep me content happy for a long time! My bank account requires it!
