that being said, it wouldn’t surprise me if there’s some sort of programming involved where it only happens under certain parameters. For instance, I’ve noticed that hill hold assist seems to only happen some times and not others, so maybe some of these features only present themselves on certain occasions..?

The hill assist only seems to work on pretty steep inclines after putting foot on brake and going into first. It's been a little spotty with me too, but I'll definitely be more aware of the upshift rev match going forward

I don’t know guys, I just went through this in December - see the thread linked below. The consensus seems to be no rev-matching on upshifts under any circumstances, and rev-matching on downshifts in Sports Plus only. Confirming that this is the case on my Spyder also.
If someone is experiencing something else, post a video so we can debate it to death.

I think I'll buy this for my 981 BGTS but I'd need 2 for my CGTS40 718.

The 718 with Chrono needs one module for the steering wheel controller and one for the center console buttons. So I'll try one for my 981 which would only need one module.

Sorry, still confused. Are you posting in the correct thread?

Well, I was posting about my 981, albeit a GTS and not a GT4. Then I looked into the product further thanks to the link posted above and commented about it for my 982 718 GTS, and how that car with Chrono needs to modules. Just sharing the info. But I get it, I strayed a bit.

Are YOU in the right thread?
We talked earlier in this thread about a module I have in my 981 GT4 sold by a vender, Vlad @ Tsomething, who sells a module that freezes all your console buttons in Last State (so that if you choose Sport Mode and Loud Exhaust they will be on when you restart the car, rather than having to select them every time.) Adam is saying that with 718 some of the controls are in the steering wheel and thus two modules are needed.

OK, fair enough. But that was eight days and two subjects ago! 😉
I move at a far faster pace. Thanks for the clarification. Carry on.
