Not a chance given the suspension design at the rear.....plus they need to keep cost under control.
The question right now is...will it really happen? Nothing has surfaced since that 1 single day of the black car at the Ring and there are too many possibilities to conclude that's an RS version.
The rear side windows blocked with some kind of intake suggest this could be an upgraded or test vehicle for the Clubsport....
Yep those CL are definitely a deal breaker for me.
For someone with no experience with Porsche center lock wheels, can you breakdown for me the drawbacks? They seem universally loathed by everyone this side of Weissach ...
Thanks!
Dislikes: Had to buy a bigass 3/4” torque wrench kit with a long breaker bar. Had to use it to remove — harder than it looks. Had to use it to reinstall; applying the 450 pounds, even with the breaker bar, is not trivial. Finicky ritual as part of reinstalling, involving special grease. Solved a problem nobody has.
Like: Looked cool, if you knew to look for them. CLs were included in the price of my GTS, meaning I paid for them already, but deleting them for 5-lugs resulted in no refund, and that just hacked me off. None of the Carrera 5-lug alternatives were good looking at the time.
I’d never opt for them on purpose, but I wouldn’t avoid a car I otherwise wanted just to avoid them.

Welll....if you use your car at the track and want to use aftermarket wheels then it becomes a problem swapping wheels/tires and also less choice of wheels (besides the extra cost).
If you don't have the necessary hardware with you changing a wheel/tire either at your home or in an emergency becomes a problem.
Also to consider is that the CLs have a limited life...you have to change them.
