Nice car. I was in the market but jumped into something else since there is a lot of inventory and few dealers are willing to drop prices. Over MSRP is still nuts.

The cars I tried to negotiate on in early June are still on dealer lots.

I am having a conversation. Are you so butt hurt because your car hasn't sold yet or are you trying to be confrontational. I think the market is indicating that they are still a bit optimistic in pricing. Perhaps I'm wrong but if they aren't then I would expect to see them changing hands a bit quicker. I am in the market the same way anyone is in the market. People want to sell for a number and I want to buy for a number. That's how the game is played isn't it.

looks like it was sold in April as a CPO, now the 2nd owner traded it back to Tyson’s and there must be a story for them not to CPO it again
Once CPO, always CPO, as long as not sold by non-P dealer. Strange dealer didn't list as CPO.

Another careless way of undermining their own business.

Why keep posting about your opinion of the GT4 market. If you don’t like the price (color or some other minor option which keeps you from buying it) of a car, move on. Else, make an offer. Simple.

Oh, my car isn’t and has never been for sale.

Why do you keep assuming that offers haven't been made. Why did you presume to know anything about what purchasing power I may or may not have? Why are you concerned about a conversation about the sale price of a car when you don't have one for sale?

Not saying you aren't right, but if the 2nd owner goes out and money shifts a dozen times, would the dealer CPO it on resale? Also might have messed up too many body panels for CPO.

All that means is that neither you nor anyone else who has tried to buy those cars offered a price that the seller was willing to sell at. There are tons of GT4s to choose from and many at discounts to list. Most are not in a hurry to sell.

I wonder what happens to previous car pricing when the new car gets introduced with a 15% premium to prior list and has an ADM, if that’s its pricing. I feel that the old car was underpriced and current pricing as a very high % of list is a hurdle for buyers. Recently I couldn’t find a car in another brand I wanted more for the same money, so I paid 16% premium to list here in Canada. Happy with the purchase. Super happy with the car.

dealer pricing can be mad. When I was looking I saw one dealer increase their GT4 prices by about 10% overnight. Watching them deny it was historical!!!

No reason for subsequent dealer to CPO a car that's already CPO. AFAIK, even if a CPO car is subsequently money shifted or is in an accident (that might otherwise disqualify it to become CPO) does not remove or disqualify the existing CPO status. Not saying any warranty covers money shifts, but their existence wouldn't disqualify a CPO.

I'd weigh in but I have no idea what we're arguing about. Can one of you get me up to speed?
