Brent is a straight shooter, are you sure you are on the list for the 2019 GT4 or the 2022?
All I know for sure is I personally know 5 people on the 2019 GT4 list at Sonnen and they been on it since the 2016 Gt4 was built. I also tried to get on that list July 2017 and was told it was nearly 40 deep
This is what SA said in email quote unquote:
"We have 4 people on the list, and we charge MSRP to configure a car."
I also reconfirmed with him on phone.
Yeah, no model year specified if they really want to play word game here... or do SA run their own lists?
They refused to take my deposit for .2GT3 back in Q1 2017 when there were about 40 ppl on the list. So this time i thought "#5 = deposit taken" makes sense...
The rear diffuser is more prominent and looks more similar to the one of the 911R and 991.2 GT3. So presumably more downforce than 981 GT4.

correct but ran into my cleaning lady who is prepping the 919 tribute car which leaves for rennsport reunion in the next day or two and ..

the car looks amazing, na, 420hp, manual coming first then a pdk option after 6 mos, they dont want to crowd the 992 911 launch so delayed after those cars are out and same/close to same price point as 981/4

I placed a deposit with Brett in mid-2015 and I was/am #2 on the list. 🤞

Sounds about right. I’m number 20 on that list as of the first day of June 2017.

I appreciate their process / MSRP, but I think they should have more of local biased process. I live a mile from that dealer and have a bunch of P-Cars, but never one from them due to the difficulty of getting them RE a million people "getting on the list" 5 years in advance.
For me I don't see there being a large discrepancy in price between the two models. I do not see the starting price to exceed 95,000. I think it will actually be around 93. This puts it smack dab in the middle of the current 981 market. Now granted almost every build will be at or slightly over a 100k that still puts it at only a 17% increase in cost for the cheapest non wrecked 981. I don't see this as a significant price gap for there to be room for this price to hold or go up. The market will definitely soften as we get closer to release of the 718 due to waiters and winter. I don't ever see it going up in the short term from where it's at. I also don't believe it will severely drop in price either so it's still a safe buy relatively speaking.
All of you people are more up to date and more interested than I am, but if Porsche puts a 4.0 in the new one and gives it a base price in the mid-90s, I will be stunned.
