Yeah, this is interesting as it is different from the Whoopsy derived conventional wisdom of 420hp and manual only. Which I still have a tendency to believe...
Now Whoopsy could be right and it could be manual only. INITIALLY... and then a PDK offered after 6 months? If Porsche did do this, I wonder if they would only mention manual and then surprise introduce PDK 6 months later with the next model year or different production schedule, or whether they would discuss that both would be available, but a delay on the PDK?

I have a #1 slot on a Spyder, but I would wait the 6 months for a PDK over a manual (which I would still gladly accept).

PDK option would be great. My order would be red, PDK, PCCB, extended range tank.

A 50 H.P. boost (12.9%) would be a very large increase for Porsche on a generational upgrade...

I think that if the RS happens, I would expect to see it with the GT3's full 500 h.p., with the RSR's bulkhead and it's multi-link suspension.

Default GT4 RS?

That would surely cost more than the GT3, and outperform it as well. It may have to live with the basic rear suspension. (And outperform it sometimes.) I will take either version, thank you.

What's the current experience with lists/adms on the next generation? There's a part of me thinking about trying for my dream car, a PTS Spyder with European delivery.

That’s what I’m shooting for, PTS Spyder + Euro delivery. Should be the perfect dream to drive your dream car straight from the back door of the manufacturer.

thread is quite slow now - compared to weeks ago

pls help with your (current) summary.
my one:
718 GT4 - most likely a 3.8l N/A (But NOT the MA1 or MDG (GT3) engine) (my guess is still a B4T to prepare us for Hybrid GT´s)
718 GT4 CS (racecar) - 3.8l N/A as 981 or modified to a 4.0l N/A (But NOT the MA1 or MDG (GT3) engine)
718 GT4 RS - (yes this time there will be a RS) i guess same engine as the CS

For me it is still crazy if they don´t use the MDG engine - but yeah.... Cayman have to be cheaper and so it have to be slower.
Preparing another 3.8 or 4.0 N/A engine for Euro6c doesn´t make any sense for me.

because 992 GT3 will high probably get again another engine setup - so why not putting the MDG into the Cayman - at least into the GT4CS and GT4RS?

pls assist and edit it - for sure i have something "wrong"

most important: When we will be relieved from the GT4 (base model) guessing game?

When it will be presented/introduced?

The most reliable intel is from whoopsy and is as follows (and in brackets other intel from those with motorsports contacts/multiple consistent sources)

718GT4 9A1 3.8l stroked to 4l with X51 powerkit cams, intake and developing 420HP - manual (435HP with PDK after 6 months, 420-450HP with PDK, redline 8000RPM)
718GT4 CS 9A1 3.8l stroked to 4l with X51 powerkit cams, intake and developing 420HP - PDK (435HP, 420-450HP, redline 8000RPM)
718GT4 RS mule/test bed running - no decision on production

Guys, don't even aim for higher HP, anymore leaves no room for other good stuff. The car is nimble enough to make up for less HP.

Converting an engine from 911 usage to Cayman usage will lose a bit of HP, intake and exhaust routing, won't have the same power level.

Race car should be in customer hands by the ROAR, tcs buddy here hogs them right now! I should be getting mine after him.

Logical conclusion means the latest they can introduce the car is LA Autoshow, if not earlier. And the race car and street car should be revealed together.

3 versions of the race car, base track toy, club racing spec and full SRO spec. It should be quite competitive vs the cheater detuned GT3 cars.

Whoopsy so you think it will be revealed in November if you are allowed to say? The street car that is.
