Do we do introductions?
I'm from the UK. We secured a GT4 with 300 miles yesterday to replace our RS6. We had an original build slot in 2015 but pulled out because of committing to racing in 2016 and needing a tow car. Big mistake.
Anyway we've probably got the spec we would have gone for originally. Although we've got guards red whereas I think our choice would be yellow.
Clubsport and the bucket seats along with SC (probably would not have chosen). Nice contrast stitching and I think the stereo upgrade. No dab radio or upgraded lights - the latter we'd have liked.
Probably won't track the car much so PCCB was not on the priority list. Although I suspect I'll take it somewhere like Spa just to see how it compares to our track toys.
We considered a manual 991.2 GTS factory order for November and almost bought a 991.1 manual GTS but missed the boat. Quite pleased we are getting a bucket list car.
We'll mainly use for alpine trips in Europe and the odd weekend away. It'll also be an occasional commute backup.
Expect the GT4 bubble to burst tomorrow. Question is, will I care? Probably not.
Cheers
TJ

About value, I worry less about what it will be worth in a year than how many times I'll get to drive it in the next year!
About PCCB, actually, although PCCB can be fun, it's better to have iron brakes for track, because they can last longer and are cheaper to replace.
Agreed on the PCCB - I'd love to try back to back with the steels to see the actual difference but this is not a car I plan on driving at ten tenths so not the end of the world.
We've also started playing with VR on the race car - Garmin VIRB 360 is quite good. It works well at HD and it has all the speed and GPS overlays along with picking up from sensors such as OBDII - we can't have additional sensors because of the regulations but I am taking it to Spa this weekend with our Elise Cup so should be able to get some good footage to test.

Envious! And kidding.
Welcome. Enjoy the car and ignore the market. That's what I'm doing with my RS which reportedly is worth nearly nothing these days.
