Default Porsche Museum Pays Homage to Transaxle Era



The Stuttgart museum just opened "The Transaxle Era: From the 924 to the 928," a special exhibition that pays tribute to the 924, 928, 944, and 968 models made between 1976 and 1995.

the transaxle era started with the 924, with a bold new Porsche powertrain: engine in the front, transmission in the back, party all the time

Maybe in terms of production, but the 928 was designed first.
