PPI for a Porsche Dealer Lot CPO car?
I'm looking at a 2015 Macan that is on a dealer lot across the country (can't find what I'm looking for any closer). It's a 2015 with 9k miles on it and it's CPO'd by the dealer, should I work on getting a PPI for the car remotely before buying and shipping or flying out to pick it up?
Is it worth it/necessary for a dealer CPO vehicle and if so, how do people go about making the arrangements for doing this kind of thing remotely?
Thanks!

Personally I would not worry about a PPI on a CPO. It comes with a significant warranty and I would assume anything that a PPI would discover the dealer would be address before selling it as CPO.

I am not sure about how the logistics of a remote PPI on a dealer lot car would work anyway.

What about paint scratches, or a fender bender that was repaired etc? Or something non-warranty like the sunroof leaked for a month while parked and there's mildew or something. I'm thinking about non-mechanicals mostly.

Sometimes forum members will check it out for you. Especially if it's at a dealer close to them. Just gives them an excuse to see what's out there. Just find the car and ask for assistance for that area/dealer. Tell the dealer you are going to have a friend stop in to look at it.

I bought a CPO Porsche and did no PPI. Closing in on two years, only trouble, knock on wood, has been a broken cup holder. Some folks swear by them. Get local eyes on it, and if you're still not comfy, get a PPI. It's a relatively small amount to pay for peace of mind...T

Did not get a PPI on my CPO. Only owned for 4 months, so .
Very happy with the car.
