Question Valentine Two?

I didnt know where to stick this message, but my friend is on the MR2 list and he said there have been rumors of the company Valentine One coming out with a new radar detector. Just wondering if anyone else had heard anything...I will be upset..I just paid close to 400 two months ago for one! Hope they upgrade..but I really dont know how it could be any better...

Valentine continues to deny this. So, it must be just a rumour.

Question

Anybody know when they're actually going to improve upon the Valentine One then? This thing's been around for a while now...

Ahmet,

It is my understanding that the V1 has had several updates during the course of its life. I suggest you call them with your serial number and find out if they'd update yours.

The most recent V-1 I bought combines both the laser and radar, smaller package, and the remote has a mute button.
The continuous improvement is a big benefit.

Never knew, it's time for a replacement I suppose. (but I'm not going to be driving anytime soon, lost my license for a year).

Cool

Ouch that sucks.

Yeah, the Val 1 can be upgraded. He did that specifically because he said he didn't think it fair for someone to pay all sorts of money and have it obsolete 2 months later. Seems nice enough.

They did upgrade my original V-1 for about 200$.They have not had the highest ratings in the last few tests I have read. Which leads me to believe they must be getting ready to release a new upgrade. They do have a class act.It will take other mfgs.two or three years to catch up,again. Also,I think there is a lazar jammer around that really does work. The Blinder M-10 was found at a good price at http://www.jamradar.com ,they also have radar absorbant powder that they offer that can be mixed with paint.I wonder if I can apply this to my bra.I need all the help I can get.

Being stealthy may not be all it's cracked up to be. Try explaining to the officer that he really clocked the semi a half mile behind you when you were just a hundred yards away!
