4. Excellence

IMHO, Excellence has the best variety of all things Porsche. If you're looking for a more narrow scope, like only 911's, then some other mags might be better.

I agree that "GT Purely Porsche" is excellent as is "Excellence." I find "911" a bit too juvenile. "911 & Porsche is OK (IMHO).

The cool thing is almost all magazines have great Porsche articles from time to time.

I like reading them, kind of a different perspective, like watching your favorite team covered by different broadcast announcers.

I think that there is an opportunity for a really well done Porsche magazine. This magazine would have great authors that can do more than just pass on their personal opinions. They would write with passion and creativity.

IMO, Excellence seems to be more slanted to late model cars. This is the recent issue with:

3 Porsches
1400 Horsepower!

This reminds me of something I would read about on the Nissan GT-R (if I wanted to).

I'd like to see a magazine that covered racing Porsches, current cars, and earlier cars. I'd also like to see a magazine that could cover the Grand-Am Porsche cars as well as historic Porsche racing cars. I'd like a well-rounded magazine.

Excellence; GT Purely Porsche should be renamed 'Malton Car of the Month', and how come no-one mentioned that joke of a Porsche magazine '9'?
