Default Seeking Porsche Repair Specialist in Boston

I'm looking for a Porsche repair shop in the Boston area to work on an '87 911 Carerra. Any recommendations would be very helpful. Obviously, if you've had personal experience with the shop you're recommending, your recommendation would be more valuable. Thanks in advance.

Do a search, as this has been discussed before, I believe on the 911 forum, but perhaps in others as well.

In the MetroWest area, I recommend Auto Sport Engineering (http://www.autosportengineering.com/ ) in Stow. I've been using them for 12 years. They're not inexpensive but they do quality work. The owner (Len Cummings) is a Rennlist and PCA member.

The local ones that support NER.

Randolph Racing Stoughton, MA
I have not worked with them but have some seen some nice work come out of their shop.

European Performance Engineering Natick, MA
Jerry Pellegrino has been doing this for a while. No direct experience.

Eurotech Advanced Automotive Framingham, MA. Bill Pfister formerly worked for Jerry. He does my DE inspections and such. Does good work and had built some nice rides. Takes safety seriously.

Autobahn Performance Peabody, MA. They did some work for the previous owner of my car, other than that,.. too far for me.

Conway Autoworks LLC Scituate, MA. Kenney Conway, new guy on the block. Formerly worked for Pfister does very good work and a good egg.

Good luck.

Jerry at EPE takes care of my 92 Cup car. I've been very happy with him personally and professionally.

I've had work done at EPE as well. Their labor rates are not competitive, but they do good work. Jerry's P-tech, Bill, did the work on my car--Bill was great in taking the time to explain the issues, repairs needed, and what maintenance issues I should look for in the future.

I bought some wheels from Kevin at Randolph and he was quite a nice guy. I talked w/ a few customers (both 911 owners) while waiting and they were quite happy w/ the place.

I haven't had work done at his shop, but Kenny helped me out at the track one time. He knew what he was doing and he is a good guy.

Jack: thanks for the comments. By the way, you have some nice pics, especially of the 944. Was it a mid 80's 951 in its previous life? Love that Yellow color!
