STOLEN CARRERA RS Near SF, CA
On Sunday, Nov. 28 in Woodside, CA, (Northern CA near SF) my 1975 Euro Carrera Targa was stolen, ID # 9115610081, engine # 6650311 from my garage along with my 996 Ducati. I have a very strong feeling who the culprit is, but I need to be careful here. If anyone out there can lend a hand in finding her, I'm grateful for any leads. Silver car, Carrera graphics, 2.7 mechanical inj. motor, solid one piece silver painted targa top, rear wiper, headlight washers, factory tail. Will try to upload photos soon.
Thanks,
AJ Costa

Hey AJ, will try to look out for you, I'm from the Cayenne forum...
Actually I have some guy from Colma who bought my 911S in June, and havent paid me, the police department sayd it was still on my name but he wont return it to me, which is weird, the cops says they will escort me there. That guy's check bounced..bastard..

For what its worth, I will be at the Pomona Swap meet this Sunday and if that car shows up in SoCal it will likely show up there. I will print out your info and if by chance this car were to show up I'd give you a call and the local PD a print out of your thread from Rennlist. Hope the jackass shows up!

AJ,
Like JSerio, I'm in the 928 forum but wanted to reply to express my condolences. Interesting that you have an idea who the culprit may be...treat lightly and maybe even enlist the services of your insurance company's investigator and/or a private investigator. Sadly, the car is probably on its way to another home in a shipping container by now. I was just in Seattle and toured one of the big ports of entry and was amazed by the sheer # of containers on ONE dock and on ONE ship. Good luck in your quest to recover your beauties...
Best,
Tim
