FECs activated by M.I.B:
Additional FECs are activated via ExceptionList.txt on unit (EL).
M.I.B. used the following for Porsche:

CarPlay und AndroidAuto:
Activation is possible, although AndroidAuto (AA) is normally not available at Porsche, so it can only be activated via patch.

Check GPS antenna installation:
Remove PCM4 from car:
Navigation:
Activation is generally possible without any problems with all MHI2 MIB2 units.

WLAN activation
Client and hotspot mode.
ATTENTION - FW Update with BOSE sound system - no sound:
Among other things, the BOSE sound system is also updated with (some) FW updates.
During this update the data set on the BOSE control unit seems to get "lost" ---> no sound.
Therefore, do not update your FW if you do not have the means to upload the fitting data set after FW update.

From which tran do you want to switch to which region?

Today I converted my 971 from US to EU, and now some questions:
1)How to enable Android Auto? I can not find it
2)Does someone have EU boardbook CD (German, Polish)?

1) You need to patch the unit mib.mibsolution.one
2) Have not seen them around so far

i patched the unit so far to install EU firmware. Now do I have to add anyyhing in FEC? Just code AA via VCP?

Well, this is depending on the Fecs you have activated on your unit from Factory.
You might be missing FECs for CP, AA, Navigation or just latest maps.

M.I.B will detect the missing once and add them automatically to your unit during patching. Also Coding for AA/CP will be done.

How do you enter GEM? I have prepared my SD card, but the button combination of CAR and TUNER does not work, Do you need to enter Developer mode first? My PCM4 in 991.2 does not have a MENU button to do so.
