nope.
the patches only modify the firmware. it doesnt change the version of the firmware. hence u must match the version for use.
for AIO my understanding is that it has the full firmware itself. it will upgrade/downgrade the firmware version to that contained within the AIO.
MIB is included in the AIO also.
it's just unzip the whole thing into an sdcard, plug n play.
Just tried to update, no luck.
After inserting the SD card it reboots then I get this error. I can't find that file on the SD card.
Hit cancel and it reboots. Then it goes through summary of devices. Some have just a dash, others have NOK.
MMX2, HD, IOC, RCC, Gracenote2, SpeechAppRes, SpeechRes, sirius, MUConsistency - all have NOK on them.
After touching Continue, another reboot, asks about doing a backup, press cancel. Then it reboots again and goes back to the normal PCM 4 screen.
What am I missing??
Joined the Telegram chat. Evidently what I grabbed off the GitHub page is just source code, about 15mb. Full AIO is 1.7gb. Hopefully the download page will come back up.
Unless someone has the 1.7gb download... Bueller? lol

Just installed and worked great!! Went just as all the other documented installs have said.
Only issue I see (after the first reboot) is the icons for the Sirus / XM channels aren't there, just shows the logo. Maybe it'll update and pull those down on the next running of the car.
Plugged in my Samsung and BOOM!!! Android Auto!!
Hi everyone! My car is 2017 Porsche Cayenne, American version. My goal was to change radio and navigation to Europe.
The system’s software version was MHI2_US_POG11_P3300. I wanted to convert it to the European version. I installed MIB. I changed Train info to Europe. Now the software version is MHI2_ER_POG11_K5126.
I wanted to patch the system, but the system did not allow it. Then I wanted to update the firmware. I extracted the “MHI2_ER_POG11_K5126_1_AIO_MU1394_20230320.7z” file to the SD card.
When I inserted the SD card into the car and went to the Swdl menu, the update started automatically. I couldn't make the Bose system "N". There is no sound right now.
Can I bring back the sound and how? Thank you for your help!
Hey guys, I used the AIO on my Macan 2018 and when I plug my phone nothing happens. From what I understand I'm supposed to see the AA icon appear. On my phone the usb setting is set to midi so I manually set it android auto and it asks me to allow access to data but nothing happens. I also noticed the FW change to K5186-1 1476 from P5103 1349. I had previously tried installing MIB Launcher manually with the correct patch. After it completed the installation I pressed CAR + TUNER but GEM does not appear. I heard it can be finicky with the timing of the presses but I tried every combination possible. MEDIA + TUNER works for screenshots and CAR + MEDIA works for SWDL but GEM does not. Am I missing something?
I've been trying g to complete activation of Android Auto in a newly acquired 2017 Panamera Turbo. The vehicle was put though the Porsche dealership to get some work completed prior to issuing the CPO. As part of that I think they might have updated the firmware. Mine is running MHI2_US_POG24_P3650 MU0984. Most of what I'm seeing on the forums is POG11. There doesn't seem to be a patch available for this firmware version. Anyone have any thoughts on what I can do here?

There seem to be limited patches available for US_POG24. I believe the only one in the patches folder of MIB is POG24_K5136. I have a similar problem I'm on POG24_P5129. The auto run batch file in MIB will only execute if your patch matches exactly.

So I've done the exact same thing as @lans42. I updated the firmware to POG24_K5136 and it worked, but I lost the Bose amplifier. I had a quy from Europe log into the car remotely and access the PCM to try and get it sorted out. After about 30 minutes he said I need someone with a PIWIS 3 diagnostic tool to reprogram the module that the amplifier is on. Sounds like it's really easy once you can get a tool. Dealer will have one. I'm trying to bypass the dealer if I can. No luck yet. I have a video of the steps though.
Hey people!
Anyone got the patch files or patch for POG24? Would be superb! I can`t find the file for them all.. Damn why is it difficult to get widescreen Car Play, got damn haha.
Hello folks and happy new year to all of you.
I need AA on my 2017 Macan and therefore I am considering installing the patched FW. I've tried to document myself as much as I can but still have some doubts so appreciate your advice and feedback.
My Macan has the Bose sound system, so my main concern is to make sure I do not end up with no sound after the process.
Although the second option specifically mentions that Bose is not updated there is no indication regarding Bose in the MIB install instructions. Are both options equally safe?
Next question: my current FW vesion is MHI2_ER_POG11_P3299_MU0807. Unfortunately there is no pre-packaged AIO for tha FW version in harman-f github. But the patched firmware does exist. What is the procedure to customize the template for my particular firmware?
Thanks for your help.
Hi,
I have exactly the same FW, trying to figure out what is the easiest and safest method to activate apple carplay in my unit.
did you get the ultimate answer? I have prepared the SD card with MIB latest version but have no idea which patch to use.
