Question Shipping a Porsche from OH to CA?

I want to ship a Porsche from Cincinnati OH, to San Francisco, CA. The car has less than 20K miles on it so I want to ship with the level of care that would be given to a new car. Can anyone make a recommendation on transport company that could achieve this?

Thanks in advance.

I'm using Exotic Car Transport. $875 for about 1,150 miles.

Car is being picked up today. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I would make sure your car is "enclosed" and not at the mercy of the elements while in transit.

I used Intercity Lines to ship my 993 from San Antonio to Baltimore. They use enclosed carriers that ship the cars flat. They were on time and did a fantastic job. Being enclosed costs a few more $$ but well worth it. They ship for Barrett Jackson too. Only way to ship. No affiliation, just a good experience...

Good luck...

I've used InterCity half dozen times over the years. Never a problem with timing and flexibility. Agree that it's not the cheapest, though. You can evern pay a bit more and won't start your engine if they have to move it. You can also request upper level nose, so your car won't be moved until it arrives.

Thanks for all your responses. It looks like InterCity is the safe bet. They want $1,475 for the job. Antother firm, Thomas Sunday, quoted me $1300. So not too much difference considering the value of the vehicle.

Sounds worth it. They were about $300 more in my case but I am still happy that I paid it. The care that they take is impressive.

Default Car recieved

I received the car last weekend and everything looked good. So I have to add myself to the satisfied customer list.
