History:
Car was allocated and sold above MSRP to original owner in early 2008 (Hoehn Porsche in San Diego). I bought at MSRP in Summer 2008 with only 2,000 miles. Have spent well over $60K+ (scared to add all the receipts) in making this the ultimate dual-purpose car (sunday driver and track beast). No accidents, never off-track. It's only been to Willow only a couple times and light autocross about 4 times. Minimal track use for GT3-RS. After each track use, would do full maintenance (new fluids, pads, etc.). For the last year, it has sat in may garage and only driven on Sunday evenings. This car is ready for a Porsche enthusiast looking for a street-legal race car. Perfect for POC and PCA DE's and TT's. It was just serviced with new fluids, brake pads, spark plugs, and full detail. It needs nothing and is ready for the new owner. This is a car owned by someone with means to properly maintain with no expense spared. All work done by GMG and BBI. Nothing has been removed and price includes everything (even spare original wheels and exhaust).
Title in hand. Have all receipts and records. Located in Laguna Beach, CA for any serious buyer's inspection. Please PM or email me at george@catchsurf.com.
UPDATE:
This car was designed for use on STREET and TRACK. The ride is very compliant and not harsh at all! - This car was built to be a dual purpose car.... good on track AND street. The springs are fairly soft at 600/800lbs. The ride is very plush and compliant and not harsh at all. The factory dampers with PASM were too stiff and made the car suffer from snap oversteer. These softer springs make street driving very comfortable, yet the Moton dampers and GMG sway bars, keep the car solid with no roll for balanced handling at the limits. Handling now is very predictable and balanced. Stock, these cars suffer from severe oversteer. This car's suspension, including the ultra-light-weight exhaust were designed to virtually eliminate oversteer issues that come with Porsche's 911 rear-engine design. It handles more like a Porsche GT3 Cup race car than a stock street car.
