Appreciate the endorsement folks. This deal is coming to an end in 7 days. This could be the last year. Getting grief from Optima with retailers complaining of the low price here. Not sure deal will be back again next year. If you are unsure of the model, measure your current battery to get a close fitment, and make sure the posts are located the same as you have now to ensure cables fit.

I would have done this last week when the battery on my 997.2 went out, but went to Optima site and said no battery made to fit my model.
('09 C2S). So got the factory one. Tell me I was wrong.

You are wrong. Rather Optima is wrong. Their finder says that for most Porsches. Have sold hundreds of Optima batts for Porsches over the years. Just need to measure and match.

Ps. Typically the Yellow Top is the best value for street car applications when you look at the retail prices listed by Optima. Blue top more for marine use. This offer sells all 3 cllorsnfoe the same.price despite the measurable difference in retail prices.

This offer is not available from any Optima retailer or Optima online. You can only order from me to take advantage of this offer. Please dont ask your friendly Optima dealer about this offer . They won't know about it and they will only get upset and complain to the factory. Thanks.

For track apps, I generally would go with this one as it is the lightest: https://www.optimabatteries.com/en-u...le-battery/d51 . Measure your current battery and see if this will fit your space. Cables should not be an issue given the battery can be mounted in either direction.

I usually have an issue with height in my battery box in a 928. Just picked up a BMW 128i and the batter is huge. Wonder if I can figure out something for that as well.
