*** NEW LOWER PRICE: $250 for local pickup in Los Angeles ***
I have a Heigo bolt-in roll bar for sale: The steel version, with tunnel braces, and the optional padding. Excellent condition (9/10) with no major scuffs or scratches on either the bars or the padding. Fits 993/993TT sunroof coupes.
This is the same bar that is sold by TechArt (it's sometimes called the "TechArt roll bar") and FVD.
The padding is really nicely done; it's covered in a nice black vinyl and sewn up, so it really looks like an OE product. It's not your typical roll bar padding.
Installs using the factory seat belt mounting points; does not require drilling holes or removing any interior panels. You don't even need to remove the rear seat backs.
Asking $750. Would prefer local pickup (SoCal) but I will consider shipping at the buyer's expense.

Several people have asked about the harness bar. This roll bar does not have one, but it is available as an option from FVD.
First, here is the link to FVD's page for the roll bar I'm selling:
http://shop.fvd.de/us/en/Porsche-0/9...l-Support.html
But note that mine has the optional upholstery, which gives it a clean OEM look.
The optional harness bar is here:
http://shop.fvd.de/us/en/Porsche-0/9...-in-Steel.html
The part number is "HEI 600 036 S" and you can find it by selecting 993TT/GT2 from the "car type" pull-down and then navigating to Interior->Roll Bar/Roll Cage. It's on page 3.
If you're interested, you should call FVD and ask them about retrofitting the harness bar. Since this portion of the main hoop is covered with upholstery, I can't look at the tubing to see how it would mount without opening the stitching on the upholstery. I imagine that a bolt through the main hoop on each side is all that's required.

Brey-Krause side brackets on Recaro flat sliders. It's just barely low enough for me with a helmet on (I'm 6'0" with a 32" inseam). Ideally the seat would be 1/2" lower, but I don't think it's possible while retaining fore/aft adjustment.

Bump on a really old post for something I need out of my storage room ASAP.
I paid $900; was asking $750 before, now I just want it gone. Take it for $250, but local pickup in LA area only.
