Default Anyone else waiting for a Sept-Oct ED date?

My GT4RS was built in May and is now waiting for me in Leipzig. I was told when I placed the order that the earliest date would be in Sept. My SA goofed and got my name in late to Joey, and Sept pre-booking filled up. I'm "at the top of the list" for dates in October though.

I've emailed Joey and he said they have not received dates from the factory for Sept or October yet. It's cutting it a little close to start planning the trip.

I'm also getting the feeling that the delay is because they will decide to cancel existing MY '23 deliveries and reboot the program with MY '24 models.

I am confirmed for October 6 at Zuffenhausen. I just received my confirmation that my car was completed a few days ago, so it will wait for almost 4 months. I was given the 'ok' to start booking my flights and making plans. Joey has really been responsive. I was concerned sbout the nedd for winter tires, as this limits where you have to drop off the car. I hope you here from them soon. I requested if there was an earlier opening or if anyone pulls out so I can go over there sooner, but he said ED is full and my date is firm.

The concern is justified. I drove the Grossglockner many times when I lived in Europe and in early October it was frequently snowing with temperature going as low as -10c
This is from Oct 11, we were the only idiots driving in those conditions -

You'll probably need to 'rent' winter tires (500 euros). Apparently required in the coldero months. If that is the case, make plans to pick up and drop off in Stuttgart.

I heard from two friends who have cars being built that ED has been removed from their configurations. Hoping that mine is still in good once Leipzig dates are announced.

Build date Oct 6, but ED maybe February.
Got shafted on the last two cars, recommend giving up.
Renting a car in Germany next month.

Joeys job is to discourage you from ED and if you make him do it, does it so that you’ll cut it out.
He wins.

My Carrera T has also been sitting in Leipzig awaiting possible dates. At the moment it is looking like no new dates in October/November will open for Leipzig.
