Front License Plate Options for ED
I have an ED planned for early April to pick up my 911 in Leipzig and am locking for what others have done with recents pick-ups for the front license plate. I've read many posts on this topic - some getting it taped on, other with side mount plate holders. Don't want it taped on, so looking for best way to use a side mount? Does PCNA assist in arranging this?
Thanks in advance for assistance.

Thanks for the reply. Decal come off okay? I'll also talk to PCNA about what options I might have. Don't know if it will be a group delivery or not yet.

When I did my ED last summer at Leipzig, they taped the front plate on with black duct tape (see picture at gas station below), not very pretty. I would bring some double-sided tape from home and use that to attach the front plate as per this post here;

I wish I would have read that post before my trip!

Porsche gave us a tow-hook mount for the front plate. Worked like a charm. Be sure to fill out the paperwork so your front number isn't drilled.
And don't forget to bring your plates home!

Think it differs, but easy to make requests. I picked up in Leipzig Dec 2017, they used velcro to keep the plate attached. Still requires tape attached to the front bumper, but didn't seem like an issue to remove. I was there when they guy at the factory removed it while dropping off the car (I asked to keep the front plate) without any issues.

Thanks for the info - does it matter which one? Any benefit to taking off the front velcro tape and plate? I've seen photos here of cars with blue "bumpers" on the front - that come with cars when you do ED as well?

I left my plates on the car (was in a hurry) when I dropped my car in Frankfurt, but was pleasantly surprised to find them in the frunk when I picked up the car here at home!
