Please note that going forward we have decided to only post announcements of events on the C&C Yahoo Group site. It has become cumbersome and too much like work to go from site to site to post each meet (I know, I sound like an old cranky guy -- sorry). And frankly, we are not in as active a recruiting mode as in the beginning -- we are very close to maxing out the parking lot on some days as you regular attendees have seen! And, as regular attendees know, there is no formality to our events. Abi and I from the beginning have purposely kept things simple (we get no pay for this, other than the fun of hanging out with car guys and have regular day jobs).
So, in order to stay up-to-date, the easiest thing to do is to become a member of the C&C Yahoo Group. Send an email to: candcnj-subscribe@yahoogroups.com to join.
I would advise doing so if you want to stay up-to-date on the calendar as there are times when we change the date on the Friday before due to weather -- we will always post a change to the C&C site. I'm sure pictures and commentary will get posted to Rennlist and other sites, but we won't be making any formal announcements going forward.

As we have discussed privately and on this forum, given the interest in C&C, we have outgrown our current location. We appreciate all of the ideas you have given us. We have considered a number of alternatives, with our objectives being: room to grow, accessibility from a driving perspective, and availability of food/drink and bathrooms. We believe we have found a location that fits these parameters and will "try it on for size" this Sunday, April 15 (change from Saturday on the schedule):
Hilton Parsippany
One Hilton Court
Parsippany, NJ
Which parking lot? Please go to the back side of the hotel (west side near the ballroom entrance). If you enter the Hilton lot with the main entrance in front of you, take an immediate right and follow the internal road around to the back side of the building
Date: Sunday, April 15
Time: 8:30 - 11:00AM
This hotel is located off of Route 10, just west of 287. It is easily accessible from routes 287, 10, 24, 80, 46, and 202 among other major routes. They have hosted major car events in the past, including Lead East and Porsche Club events, and are eager to have us there. We have had to move the date from Saturday given other events at the hotel that day. There is a coffee shop inside with the usual breakfast fare as well as a couple of restaurants including a Ruth's Chris for those of you who want your Sunday meat and potatoes afetr C&C. And, we have access to the bathrooms!
We understand that some may find this location "better" and others may not be as happy. Recognize that a group that is our size and comes from all over the area is not easy to accomodate. Let's try this out and see how it goes. See you all on Sunday. Please let your friends know who may not get this email.

Thanks to the efforts of Officer Scott Herchick of the Chatham Township Police Department, we have a new location for this weekend's Cars and Croissants meet:
The Chatham High School Parking Lot
255 Lafayette Avenue
Chatham, NJ 07928
This location returns us to Chatham but without some of the perks of the Shunpike mall: there are no bakeries or restroom facilities nearby! For those bringing your own baked goods and drinks, please make sure you carry out any trash as we don't want to leave it all over the parking lot.
This location is also much more suburban so we would like to request everyone to be on their best behavior (no revving, no burnouts, no loud music, etc.). We would like to be the best guests who come and go without a trace!
Until we find a permanent location or set of locations, we will let the group know about the locations as far in advance as possible via Yahoo groups.
Please let your friends in the various forums know about the location for this weekend. We don't want to leave stragglers all over North NJ!
See you on Sunday.

Due to the anticipated large turnout for Saturday's event, the somewhat smaller size of the previously announced Bernardsville location, and the unexpected availability of the Hilton Parsippany, we are changing the location to:
Hilton Parsippany
1 Hilton Court
Parsippany, NJ
Time: 8:30 am to 11 am
We are using the same lot we did a month ago which is at the back of the hotel. The Hilton will block off both sides of the parking lot at the back of the hotel for us, so if you arrive and see barricades, those are for us!
As before, we have access to the hotel facilities, including food for purchase and bathrooms (hooray!). Please use the back entrance of the Hilton. Note that there is a Hampton Inn also on the side of the Hilton, which is NOT available to us (nor is the Hampton Inn free breakfast for their guests -- some of our members got a little confused last time. :-))
Please no revving your engines and no peeling out of the parking lot -- lets be good guests -- the Hilton is graciously allowing us the use of their facilities for no cost.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but we thought it made sense to avoid the rain possibilities. You can lodge any complaints with me (Kirk) directly as it is my judgment call. Abi has conveniently left the country for several weeks to avoid such controversy. :-) I will listen politely, of course.

We are meeting this Sunday, September 9.
Hilton Parsippany
One Hilton Court
Parsippany, NJ
Which parking lot? Please go to the back side of the hotel (west side near the
ballroom entrance). If you enter the Hilton lot with the main entrance in front
of you, take an immediate right and follow the internal road around to the back
side of the building
Date: Sunday, September 9
Time: 8:30 am to 11:00 am
This hotel is located off of Route 10, just west of 287. It is easily
accessible from routes 287, 10, 24, 80, 46, and 202 among other major routes.
There is a coffee shop insidewith the usual breakfast fare as well as a couple
of restaurants including a Ruth's Chris for those of you who want your Sunday
meat and potatoes after C&C. And, we have access to the restrooms!
See you all on Sunday. The same courtesies should be in existence here as we
have in Chatham --no burning rubber or loud engine revving in the parking lot
or leaving the premises. We are guests at the Hilton, and they have been kind
enough to let us use their lot with no fees or legal issues. Please respect
their property and the paying guests at the hotel.
Please let your friends know who may not get this email. Also, as always, we
will send a confirming email on Friday in case there are weather or other issues
with a Sunday meet. So, for final location/date info for this weekend, check
your email on Friday.

Folks,
2012 was a big year for C&C: We have over 750 subscribers on the email list, we expanded to a number of new locations and saw some great cars! Back in 2009, Kirk and I started C&C as a gathering of like-minded gear heads who enjoy discussing all things automotive early on a weekend morning. From all we have heard, others enjoying Cars & Croissants as much as we do.
Now as we wait for the temperatures to rise and the vegetation to turn green again, we are getting ready to have another great year. We realize some of the dates for C&C will conflict with other meets, events, etc. and as such please do worry if you miss one—there will be another in 2 weeks.
Finally, as we have requested in prior years, we greatly appreciate the respect/courtesy most of the attendees have displayed at our meets. As some of you know, finding locations for these meets is not easy. Loss of even one hosting location will greatly limit the ability of having these meets. So please encourage any of your friends or invitees to follow your display of consummate gearhead manners!
