Okay I ordered a rift, be here next week, will put in the new video card this weekend. Have you guys tried any other supported games? I have used it at work to walk through Revit models of stores we are designing, very cool.
I like "Project Cars" and "Assetto Corsa". Both available on Steam.
Both run in VR in the Rift. Assetto has the advantage that it seems to be the only game that actually has Porsches (available in 3 add on packages). In addition Assetto has the 1960 Monza track, which was a combination of the road course (sans chicanes) and the oval track (super bumpy), unbelievable that they actually did races in this configuration
Jim downloading Dirt right now (on sale today) what do you use for a handbrake? Assume you want one for this game. Thinking my sequential might work pretty good.
yeah I set my Fanatec SQ to sequential mode and use paddles for up/down

Yes it's under Leagues. Search for Rennlist Racers.
If you PM me your full name (the name you registered to iRacing with) I'll add you.
Laguna since the dirt update was a challenge for me. I could crank out a fast lap, but had no consistency. Jim was fast and consistent and really dominated the race. I had one little opportunity to catch up and blew it by losing the rear end into Turn 5. The rear end was washing out right after turn in and I couldn't get it back. I'll set the track to clean up after practice next time.
