how long did you use the petals before the load cell failed? I'm probably just going to order an extra just in case for $15, save on frustration when I need it.
I am using the g27 wheel and pedals. The car just seems to be so much more prone to spinning then they are on the track. Do I have to do car setup? I'm running as it comes using the mx5 cup at Mid Ohio (A track I know extremely well!).

Have you gotten your force feedback dialed in? Try running at summit point, it's the first track that the mazda cup runs in each season. Here is a video that might help you out. Brake early and go easy on the throttle, you don't need to set fast lap times your first time out.

It just takes some time since you are lacking the physical movement part. A good set won't avoid spinning, it will just be more optimized for mid Ohio. Spinning and learning how to get the car back from it are good aspects of learning in the mx5. Same thing with the SFR and skippy cars.
Come practice with us tonight anyways. Everybody is going to be crashing their way around mosport anyways
Maybe we should treat lap 1 like a full course caution until the back straight. I've gotta get a lot more practice, I'm having trouble switching pedals around.
