The software does take some time to learn. Shoot me an email (matt@trailbrake.net) and I'll send you some great resources.
For the math channels, check out this thread and video on how ot do them https://rennlist.com/forums/data-acq...nel-video.html
The channel you want is included in the software, you just have to fill in the details. It's
gear(Engine, GPS_Speed, 1, 6)
You just need to change Engine to the name of your RPM channel. Let me know if you need help with it.

Today I hooked up canbus wire. So much better. Everything is working except..... brake pressure.
Brake pressure works, but the linear overlay graphic only gets filled up about half way at max.... why is this? Is it some setting I need to change? Looks like the min and max is not defined correctly on the overlay portion.

The reason you need to set the scale is that drivers vary. I've seen drivers use a maximum of 650 and a maximum of 1850 (?!?!). Also, for me, the CAN channel brake pressure comes through is BP4.

Peter,
Can you clarify the channel name BP4? I am using ECU_31 PSH_BRAKE_P for the brake meter on the overlay
But I do see Psh brake PR 1 through 4...

Select PSH_BRAKE_PR4 from the dropdown menu for the SmartyCam channel assignment.
PSH_GEAR only comes through on the PDK cars, AFAIK.

You'll need to rerun the gear calculation procedure. System Information in the Menu, then Restart Gear Calculation. Leave the pits, go through each gear for at least five seconds, do not let revs drop to idle while the car is moving. AiM's procedure is this: http://www.aim-sportline.com/downloa...ce_109_eng.pdf

Hey I am trying to adjust the brake pressure for my smartycam, but an having trouble finding this setting where you can adjust the max. Where is it in the RaceStudio 3 software?

It's in the camera setup. Click on the brake pressure graph then below the screen display it will show where you can set the max pressure.

Since this thread got bumped and I see the calculated gear channel mentioned...
Is the setup and calibration process still the same for the Solo 2 DL? There are two gear channels in the CAN ECU channel list, neither of which is live in my 981 MT. I found a PDF how-to for the calculated channel and calibration for the Solo DL. Just wanted to confirm it's still valid for the 2 DL before I try to make it work.
