Default Traqmate questions

Just installed a traqmate classic and have a few questions

Do I have to use a separate track spot for ca vs ccw? That seems to make sense to me
Can I just add the lat/long coordinates in a track vs hitting the start button while on track?
Anyone have cords for two and hallet

I'm not sure you have to have separate tracks for CW and CCW but I would. You can enter S/F coordinates but I've found it problematic at some tracks. Hitting the button always works. You can always adjust the S/F in Traqview.

You can enter the same coordinates and select under "Tracks" on the Classic display which one you're doing. You can also hit the button and then rename it or duplicate it and name the alternate direction later.

Yes, Trackmate wants a start/finish line location and heading.

DETAILS HERE.

It is not hard to add a start/finish later if the wrong track is selected or no coordinates are entered...

thanks for the replies. I'm real excited to start analyzing some data.
I upgraded to the hd video with 1 mobius camera. have that one pointing out frot from the main hoop of the roll cage. considering these cameras are so inexpensive, i was thinking about adding the second, but wondering what people would think would be the best position for analysis.

im thinking about trying to point it to the steering wheel/pedals, as opposed to another view outside the car. any others record that view? is it worthwhile?

Thanks Peter

One more question: what's the best way to mount the gps antenna in the outside of the car? Seems like a big hole to drill in the roof

Mine is on the roof ( on the side) with the antenna cable between the 2 side windows.
This is on a Cup car. On a street car you might cut the cable if you do this.
