Default Traqmate accessory cord

Bought a 944 spec race car and it came with a Traqmate system. Looking for an accessory cord for the tac. anyone know where to get one or how to build one.

no model number anywhere on this thing

we could use a printer cable if we knew which wire to use, lol

Need to figure out if it’s a Basic (that Sensor Unit only) or half of a complete (the Sensor Unit and Display Unit). Do you have another piece, a Display unit?

If not, you’ll need a DIN or PS2 to USB Serial adapter cable to plug into COM, an antenna and power cable.

The AUX is for accessories like an analog sensor input (PITA), an RPM input (easy) and camera control (works with GoPro Hero, Hero 2 and Replay XD1080 only).

Need more info. The software is easy to use, the accelerometers are better filtered and quicker than other data systems (so good, you can see how fast and hard you’re hitting the brakes from that information) and it’s still a great system.

But they haven’t been made since 2015 and that was after a ten year run.

Oh, sorry, I see you said you needed a Tach adapter. I’ll look around, but I think that’s all gone.

Coach,

We have the entire kit, just need the accessory (tach) cord. Is there a model number or something for this unit. Wondering if we can find a wiring diagram or some way of making the cable we are looking for.

TIA,
Dave

I may have pillaged most of Peter’s old TraqMate stuff already :-)

In my accumulation of stuff I ended up with a spare Traqdata module. That operates as a typical IO module and allows a couple of analog and digital inputs. It also will connect right to the coil if you have an old school system. I use it to log a TPS and a steering angle but haven’t really messed with the steering angle much (I am just using a rotary pot for that). Let me know if the Traqdata is helpful?

I am on the search for the color TraqDash. I just have the smaller display unit currently.

The tach adapter originally is that 15-pin serial and a single blue wire.
