The Quattro is proving to be a nightmare , the quattro people are very unhelpful and every thing I need is very ridiculously expensive ,and IF they sell you something they are doing you a great favour .
That's why I bought the EVO 6RS what a great bunch of guys helpful , reasonable prices , great with advice ,I built the car with 4 weeks to spare
The Quattro is going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time project

That's too bad. Hope you get things to work out for you.

I rallied an EVO 0.5 for a few years. It was called the Eagle Talon/ Mitsubishi Eclipse. I don't think it was ever exported outside North America. Closest thing you may be familiar with, would be the Galant VR4.

Came across this video a few minutes ago. A friend asked me to drive his 911 in our local RallyCross series a few years ago. Not the same style of event you are familiar with. We run one car at a time, at about 20 second intervals. Times for all runs are cumulative, plus any penalties (2 sec/cone for example). I'm the faster, smoother driver....

Oh, and this event was on our farm. We have a nice little RallyCross track in our backyard.

I have a farm as well , but I am only allowed to go round in my old Land Rover 109
I hope you did not take advantage and do extra practice

I would like to have time to do just that. As it is, the course is always slightly different and ever-changing.

But it sure is nice to have it.

Hi All
Here is my new rally car it is a Mitsubishi Evo 6RS , it goes into action in 4 weeks time in Belgium on the Rally Criterium J L Dumont
I hope it does not rain my last two rallies in Belgium the rain poured down and I crashed out on both with the Porsche , I am hoping 4 wheel drive and a dry rally will get me over the finishing ramp

Hi All
Just got back from the Hannut rally in Belgium before the shutdown of motorsport in Europe ,I was in the EVO6RS great rally in a really great car , The morning was dry the afternoon very wet the car was brilliant in both conditions
We are in lockdown not for at least 12 weeks so I will be able to push on with the Quattro
The GT3 is now rally legal to do rallies in the UK
The RS200 I did a rally stage at a show called Raceretro I forgot how quick that car is

This surfaced earlier this week from 1994 I think of me in my ex Des Winks RSR RallyX car built
by the late lamented Porsche engineer Bob Watson during his time at Dage Motorsport Enjoy the old nail hammering Roger Newbold R reigning UK modified champion in his 2,5 Cosworth powered mid engined Renault 5. In the UK back then, if he finished, he won...not in Ireland though! Enjoy!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igKj...-Sti4Lnsug3AIA

I have had a number of including 1990 C2 Targa in 91. A 20 k mile 89 wide body Speedster and a 20 k miles 00 996 Turbo all gone in the mid noughties....I shed a wife at that time!
i replaced the RSR with a RallyX ex works Grp B Computervision 3.8l 6R4 ex Dermot Carnegie. I won Irish Rx championship in 97 in it

Now building a makey up GT3...420 bhp based on a very low mile 2003 3.6 996 @ around 1000 kgs for sprints and Trackdays. Having come back in 2014, I now do forest Targa rallies in the UK in a soon to be 255 bhp MR2 Spyder powered by a dry dumped all steel Honda K20 ....into mad yokes in my dotage!!!
