Default Leather Care - Euro GT3 seats

Used to use Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner on my seats, currently non-perforated leather Recaros.

Sill have plenty of cleaner left, wondering what would be a good treatment for the leather when clean? Stick with Lexol or try something new/better?

These seats get pretty sweaty at the track, so need to clean them fairly often (2-3 times a year).

Looking for products/techniques that will give good results and will be relatively user friendly and easy to apply.

Thanks for any tips.

Cheers

Matt

To clean the seats I like Leather Master Strong Cleaner every 6 months and a wipe down with a wet microfiber after every couple of drives.

For conditioning I have found Leatherique Prestine Clean to work very well every 6 months. I don't drive that much ~2500 miles/year so you may need to increase if driving regularly.

Should have noted that I have the GT2 seats with Alcantara centers so it's not an exact match to the Euro GT3 with leather centers.

Remove the centers...do they Velcro in like mine? I don't think leatherique is good for alcantera.

The centers are velcro attached and yes I definitely remove them when applying conditioners. The seats still look as new.

I also use the bolster protectors that one of the Rennlist members created a couple of years ago. Works perfectly to keep the lower bolster scuff free.

get the leather hot, so the pore open up. It accepts the conditioner better.

Lexol is a decent mid level product. If you want products w/ fancy stuff, try leather masters, swissvax, leatherique, zymol.

Leatherique is really good. It really soaks in because its a liquid and not a thick cream.
