Default carnauba finishing wax

If you had to choose one, which one would it be?
Kind of tired of applying Zymol with my bare hands.
thanks

Pinnacle Souveran.

Good price, incredible look, very good protection and it can be layered.

Either P21S 100% Carnauba or Sonax PC Carnauba would be a great choice.

How are you applying the product? Never had good experience applying Carnauba with a pad.
thanks

Ease of application is very dependant on the carnauba. I truly disliked Carnauba's until I was introduced to the higher end products which apply and remove easier.

I use a foam applicator pad to apply carnauba. Both sponsors offer good applicator pads for waxes. The key is to use a very small amount of product resulting in a very thin layer on the paint. Application should be a four step process.

1. Apply a thin layer to the entire car
2. Remove using a Microfiber
3. Apply a second thin layer between 3 - 24 hours after the first coat
4. Remove using Microfiber

Apply them with a soft foam pad like this, and it goes on smooth:

Remember to apply thin coats. It's also critical you've clayed and polished prior to waxing.

Moe,

Can I put a carnauba wax over einszett Glanz? Or maybe my question should be, "Will I see any improvement in doing so?"

It would cut down on some of the gloss and give you more depth. I'm personally a fan of carnaubas since hey give you greater depth and brilliance.

FWIW, Glanz can be multi-coated for considerable depth according to those who have tried it. 3-7 applications seems to produce the desired depth. I'm just the messenger. YMMV.

There is a lot of discussion about whether or not it is possible to layer polymer sealants on a paint surface. To my knowledge most polymer sealants are based on silicone and an emulsion system containing petroleum distillate solvents. Most petroleum distillate solvent will remove polymer sealants.

So it would depend upon what solvents are used in the Iz Glanz formula

It's always best to consult the product manufacturer for accurate technical information.

Thanks! I only applied one coat recently when I was trying out the PC I bought from Moe, which turned out to be fine since I need to go back and do some paint correction. I'll take your advice next time.
