Default Let me SHOW you why PIAA wiper blades rock!

I have been a huge fan of our PIAA Super Silicone wiper blades for some time. Last night after a large bug made a valiant effort to get through my windshield I was washing things up. and want to show why. JUST last week I ran through a construction zone that splattered tar all up the front of my truck. I had to use Laquer Thinner to clean it all off the windshield and I followed it up by 50/50 alcohol and water and then finally Windex. So, at that point I knew it was as clean as it could be and the initial silicone treatment that comes with the blades was removed. After just a week of wiper use you can clearly see the blades have re-deposited a new thin layer of silicone back onto the window to repel water JUST like they claim. Very cool.

Available for most cars and trucks here:

Or, give me a call to order.

Are inserts available in appropriate sizes to fit Porsche OEM blades? I have an '02 996 and my squeaky wipers are driving me nuts. I have cleaned the windshield extensively, with no luck, so I'm looking for a good insert that won't squeak.

I live in the Seattle area, so these do get used quite a bit!

Is it just me or are there very few PIAA fitments for Porsches?
I found them for the 968, but nothing for the 996TT nor 993Targa.
Ironic, especially in a Porsche forum

BTW, when your wipers squeaky, try cleaning the blade as well as the windshield. I use windex and squeaking is gone for a long time.

When the wipers deposit silicone onto the windshield, doesn't that cause haze or streaking when you use them??

No. Not even under street lights at night.

Yes, that's my point with finding a lot of maintenance items for our cars. For a good set of wiper blades, these "high end" options (PIAA, etc) don't make them in all sizes and for all models. Why can't they at least make a swappable refill for our 993 wiper blades?

And why can't we find them in our local auto-parts store?

I know our cars are "high performance" and "rare" older cars, but we're talking wiper blades here.
