Removing adhesive/glue from emblem??
Need recommendations..
A piece of the Carrera emblem on my rear deck has pulled off. I want to fully remove the emblem and replace it. I plan to using the "fishing line" technique to remove the rest of the emblem.
However, I will need to remove the adhesive without damaging the paint. It also appears the PO may have used some type of glue/epoxy to bond the broken piece of the emblem since it's hard and crusty....not just rubberized emblem adhesive.
thoughts??

the fishing line or dental floss will work.
to remove the adhesive I would go with 3m adhesive remover
afterward polish out the area and then replace the emblem.
a good idea will be to mark where the old emblem was so you have match it to the same position.

I've also used dental floss successfully. I was left with very little residue when I did this.
