Default First-timer: 2002 BMW 330ci Jet Black

First, I would like to thank Phil at Detailers' Domain for advising me on this detail. He helped me figure out what pads and products I would likely need for the car then turned around my order in a very short time.

I would have to say the car came out good, not great. I was starting with a pretty worn-out finish from years of being a four-season daily driver and washed at the dealership once or twice a year (my wife took it there and told them to wash it for her). I think next time I may be a bit more aggressive with a different pad.

Here are a couple of before and afters. Please give me some feedback on technique and photography, too.

Thanks, all.

Craig: I spent about 22 hours total on it. I am far from being a pro, so I am pretty cautious and slow. Busy, too, so I would work for a couple hours here and there over an eight-day period.
